Our after-school Robot Club is a STEM skills club for ages 10+ at Tamworth City Library, and challenges attendees to problem solve challenges by working together to design and build robotics..
Attendees learn about the basics of mechanical engineering and robotics with our VEX IQ robotics kits, enabling them to build stable structures with geared mechanisms that they operate themselves, or program to operate autonomously using the robots sensors to understand it’s environment and react accordingly.
In 2019 the Library Innovation Studio Robot Club took home trophies at Tamworth’s first VEX Robotics Championship at The Youthie, competing against high school students and other children from the region.
